 Before founding High Definition Scientific Technologies, LLC, Lee worked for a Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a in The Woodlands, TX known for discovering the physiological function of 4500 or more genes in mice using their patented gene targeting technology to create knockout mice. As a Scientific Team Leader he managed the Advanced Research Department within Mouse Production and Genetics. During his 6 years there he helped to build a high throughput system to deliver knockout mice in support of the growth and expansion of its drug discovery pipelines in the areas of Cardiology, Endocrinology, Immunology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, and Neurology.
As Senior Scientific Team Leader he took on the responsibility of managing mouse production in support of the company’s alliance partners to include: Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Taconic, Organon, and Genentech. He also helped to facilitate the creation of a transparent production system allowing for the accurate analysis of project costs as well as the reporting of estimated time lines of project deliverables.
Previously, he worked in the food manufacturing industry. At Chung’s Gourmet Foods he served as liaison to on-site USDA and FDA inspectors. In this role he ensured the safety of raw materials, equipment, buildings, and personnel involved in each stage of the production cycle. He has also held positions at MarketStar Corporation, Sigma-Genosys and Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab. Lee also served four years active duty in the United States Air Force. He holds a Bachelors degree in Biology from Texas A&M University College Station.
